If You Liked Harry Potter, Read ...

Harry Potter.  Two words, one name, millions of happy readers.  When has a series created such a franchise such as this?  I am constantly surprised at the consistency at which these books continue to be checked out and read at my library.  They are definitely what I would consider a new classic.  However, I sometimes find that students, especially my younger kiddos, gravitate to Harry Potter though it might not be the best book choice for them at that time.   I also find that many of my older students, after finally finishing that last Harry Potter book, find themselves at a lose for what to read next.  Reading all the book in the series is a commitment as a reader and finding a new book or series to follow the love my students often feel for Harry, Ron and Hermoine can be quite difficult.   Hopefully, the list provided below will help find the Harry Potter fan that is now lost looking for a new magical adventure.  A shout out to Forsyth Public Library, GA and Good Reads for title suggestions and guidance.
